White
House Carpets Ruined, An Embarrassed Bush Explains
WASHINGTON,
DC - During
a White House press conference
this week, President Bush
was asked why there was a
huge stack of rolled up carpets
outside the front door. Blushing,
Bush explained that when
you collect a bunch of rich
old men in one place, you’re
bound to have at least one
with severe bladder control
issues.
When asked if there were any particular suspects, Bush replied, "…I
have no idea whether we'll find out who the leaker is." White House aids
have mentioned that they have noticed disturbing scents arising both from visiting
ex-President, George Bush, Sr. and Vice President Cheney.
President Bush explained that, as a general precaution, all elderly staffers
were being advised to start wearing Adult Huggies™ because of their elastic
bands which, "do a very good job of protecting the leakers."
Bush does not see this problem as a continuing threat and expects the changing
of White House carpets to be a one-time deal.
