HOLLYWOOD, CA - Actor Mark Wahlberg, known for his roles in Planet Of The Apes, The Italian Job, Fear, The Perfect Storm and Boogie Nights was admitted into Cedars-Sinai Hospital earlier this week.
 
Wahlberg was injured on the set of his new movie, Jail Break, while scaling a fence for a scene in the movie.
 
“It is well known that Mr. Wahlberg loves to perform his own stunts. He actually insists on it,”  said Jermain Socco, Wahlberg’s Agent.
 
He went on, “Mark will be fine, the doctors said the injury is not very serious. He should return to the set in a week or two.”
 
Resident Doctor, Dr. Ramadan Vrokib,  who tended to Wahlberg upon his admission to the hospital, explained the accident.
 
“Mr Wahlberg was scaling a fence in the prison break scene and while he was going over the top of it, he slipped and impaled his genitals on the top of the fence. We had to give Mr. Wahlberg a few stitches and minus the soreness to his testes and pride, he will be fine.”
