OPP, AL - Televangelist Jerry Falwell has been criticized recently for his failure to blame gays for the tsunami disasters in the days immediately following the events. Countless Evangelicals have voiced their concern that it took Falwell nearly six days to finally state that the tsunami disasters were God's way of showing his anger toward homosexuals. Falwell normally responds quickly to such events. For example he held gays accountable for the 9/11 attacks within 24 hours of the planes hitting the towers. Falwell has issued a statement apologizing for his slow response time. He says that he plans to have an early-warning system installed at his office so that in the future he will be able to blame homosexuals for tragic disasters before the events even occur.
