Modern Art Exhibit Understood Exactly Right

NEW YORK, NY - Yesterday Mark Riley, a 25-year-old Applebee's waiter from Cleveland, OH, understood a modern art exhibit exactly as it was intended. While visiting New York City this week, Riley went to check out the Museum of Modern Art where he was quite fascinated by a series of children's toys and structures laid out upon what appeared to be pigeon carcasses. Riley, who dropped out of community college six years ago, reported, "I just figured that the children's buildings on the dead pigeons was kind of like how we build our houses and stuff whether it hurts nature or not. Lots of times our buildings kill the environment, but we don't care. We sort of act like stupid kids." When pressed further to explain why pigeons were used instead of other animals, Riley correctly asserted, "Pigeons seem to adapt pretty quickly to our big obnoxious cities. So I think the art shows that even they can be killed, and we wouldn't care. We think we can just take control of nature."

When contacted, Mund Zwickly, the artist who created the "Games We Play" exhibit, reluctantly admitted that Riley had explained the meaning exactly right. Zwickly stated, "Fine. So it could have been more abstract. Did you say he works at Applebee's? Jesus! I suck!"
