said, "Bobby Brown said he had
gotten together with former New Edition
band members Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown,
Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant,
and Johnny Gill to blow off some steam
with a night out on the town for fun,
drinking & ladies.
They were walking from
Boston's famous nightclub The Attic
to another hot spot Avenue C. When suddenly
his band mates pulled and pushed him
in to an ally and at once all began
beating on him. He remembers them mostly
just kicking him in the head and yelling
about if he wanted to treat his wife
like a bitch, that's how they would
treat him. He then fell unconscious
and remembers little else."
Bell, Bivins, DeVoe, Gill and Tresvant
were not accepting calls and could not
be reached for comment.
Police will not be looking into this
matter further.
