X-Men III In Question

HOLLYWOOD, CA - With the November 25th release of “X-men 2: X-men United,” fans around the world have been clamoring for news on the release of the third installment of the X-men series.  The reality of these hopes however, has long been darkened by problematic ‘Hollywood issues’.

Bryan Singer, the director of the X-men films, recently addressed the specific hindrances of creating the third film.  “We can guarantee that many cast members will return to reprise their roles in a third film, but we have had minor issues with some of the actors and actresses.  I don’t want to point any fingers, but let’s just say that some guys think that being a wizard means they’re better than Magneto, and some bitches think that just because they win an Academy Award, they’re too A-list to be in X-3.”

Roundtree To Berry: "Shut Yo Mouth"

Thankfully for X-men fans around the world, it seems that contract negotiations have ironed themselves out, and this reporter has gained some insight into what super hero junkies have in store for them in the next X-men film, coming to theaters in 2006.

“First of all,” said Singer, “we are going to have Storm start a torrid love affair with Magneto, causing him to consider giving up his evil ways and start down a path of redemption.  Before Magneto can make his metamorphosis in this direction, Storm converts to Islam and makes a pilgrimage to Africa to return to her tribal roots.  When she arrives in the motherland she finds that the country is in the midst of a powerful drought, and she must use her skills to save the continent.”

Singer continued by stating that, “Storm will also change the life of Professor Xavier by having various conversations with him in the course of driving him in the jet.  Somewhere in the midst of all this, Dr. Jean Grey will return as Phoenix, and Storm will be the one to discover all this from her new personal base of operations in the Congo.”

Although the majority of X-philes are excited about the upcoming movie, there have been some objections to the nature of the script.  Richard Roundtree of Shaft fame was angered when he heard about “X-men 3: Storm Goes to Africa”.

“This is complete bullshit,” he said.  “I took Shaft to Africa a long time ago, and now they wanna act like this is something new.  Wait till I get my hands on that Bryan Singer.”

When asked about his feelings on Roundtree’s anger, Singer reportedly said, “He’s one bad Mutha…”
